When I am on the other side of the house from the router, my signal strength looks similar to the image on the left. On your device you should see a wifi strength indicator (below is an example of what it could look like) – The image on the left shows weak signal, the on the right is a strong signal Take note of the different speeds most likely they will decrease as you get further away from the modem.
